Hi! My name is Dżo Lama – it’s my artistic nickname and the signature under every piece of my work. I have been connected with tattooing since 2013, and from the very beginning I have treated it not only as a profession, but above all as a form of art and personal expression. I graduated from the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Wrocław, earning the title of visual artist and goldsmith. From 2017 to 2025, I ran the Nasza Tattoo Shop studio in Wrocław, and today I create in a truly unique place – Amanita Art Village in the heart of the Izera Mountains.
My artistic path is also a journey through the world – I have tattooed in around 40 countries on different continents, including China, Canada, Russia and the United States. I often worked on the road, visiting tattoo studios and meeting inspiring people while traveling by camper van. These experiences allowed me to broaden my perspective and bring a new outlook, as well as a unique sensitivity, into my work.
A particularly strong influence on my development came from journeys deep into nature – to Mexico, Tanzania, India and Indonesia. It was there that I discovered how inseparably art and spirituality are connected. Today, my work is not only about creating designs, but also about building an atmosphere in which every client can feel peace, acceptance and closeness to nature.
Together with my husband, we created Amanita Art Village – a holistic space where tattooing blends with rest and regeneration. In addition to tattoo sessions, we offer accommodation, meals and the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in nature. Guests can enjoy a unique fly agaric–shaped sauna, a natural bathing pond with a mountain view, and vegetarian cuisine based on vegetables from our own garden. It is the complete opposite of a city studio – here, time flows slowly, in harmony with art and the surrounding landscape.
I create tattoos based on my clients’ ideas, but I always give them an авторский (autorski) character – a fully original, artistic signature. What matters most to me is that the design harmoniously follows the anatomy of the body. I prepare each project individually, often refining the details on the day of the session – that’s when the best ideas are born. In my work, I focus on mindfulness, calm and comfort, because I believe that a tattoo is not only an image on the skin, but also a process that stays in your memory for a long time.
If you feel that my art resonates with your aesthetic, write to me and let’s create a project together that will become a part of you. I approach every tattoo individually, so from the very first consultation you can expect full commitment and a shared search for the best possible form.
